I apologize to those of you who have been trying to get onto my site. Over the last week I’ve noticed an annoying trend. Some of the time when I visited my site, I’d only get a portion of the page delivered. Sometimes this does happen and a quick refresh will fix it. However, it just became progressively worse. I decided to take a look at my statistics only to find and 82% 404 error rate. So it was time to complain…
Yesterday the weather was nice – no clouds, plenty of Sun but really humid. It isn’t possible to sit outside in the Sun in the afternoon here – you roast. You can almost smell yourself cooking after 10 minutes or so… “with fava beans and a good Chianti…” It threatened to rain all afternoon – 
it even got dark and ugly… the build up was huge… the anticipation of a Big Wahwabee (that’s my word) was everywhere… children ran home fron school, people were screaming in the streets, everyone started heading for the churches… then… nothing… a couple of raindrops and it was over… Although I do recall hearing something about golf-ball size hail falling someplace… Continue reading ‘Yesterday Was Humid’
