On a dark and stormy night….

So I drove to work last night with my windows down so I could enjoy the lovely breeze brought here by Hurricane Wilma, and the next thing I know, half a mile from my job, my car turns off and won’t come back on. So I turn on my hazard lights, and I’m sitting there trying to start my car, when Lakeland’s finest sheriff officer comes to my assistance. He tells me, “Let me hel’ ya to zee siade of rowwd!”…..So he lunges my car with his car to the side of the road….He gets out, walks up to my car, and proceeds to ask me many questions…..Here are some examples (I’ll translate them into english), “Is this really your car?” “Did you come here from Sarasota?” “Why do you live in Tampa, have a permanent address in Sarasota, and work in Lakeland?” “Oh really, you go to USF, what’s your major?” (The following statement will not be translated for full effect.) “Khem-istre?…So ye’ liek (pause), ‘no bout thuu mow-leculahr structur of stwuff, eh?”…..Then he runs a background check on me, comes back and asks me when I have to go to work…When I tell him 3, he laughs a little, says I’m going to be late, tells me I can walk to work, and drives away…..What’s wrong with this picture?

Ok – We’re Having A Little Trouble

I’ve decided to add another page to the web site – it’s located under About The Site and it’s called Using WordPress . It offers a basic explanation of the Write Post Screen and what the fields are for. I noticed that a couple of you must have clicked on the Save button and then probably asked yourselves “Where the hell did it go?” . It’s probably my fault (my BAD) because I told you that you could periodically save your writing by clicking the save button – what I should have referred to was the Save and Continue Editing button. Hitting the save button saves your writing as a Draft and terminates the session. A link to the saved draft is always located at the top of the Write Post page so that you can edit it later… That’s where I found two drafts (Michael’s and Carla’s). The publish button will put it on the web site for everyone to see – up to the point where you want to publish it – just use the save and continue editting button…
