Yup.. I have a bad case of “Cookie-Jones”…. it’s been well over a year since I’ve had anything that comes close to a package of decent Archway cookies from 7/11. Cyprus is full of cookies and pastry of all kinds; most of them I can’t pronounce and worse, I can’t tell what they are or what they are made of. I recognize familiar things like the cakes and pies but there are these “other” things…I just don’t know what they are. I’d ask but the language barrier is sometimes too much to cope with. When you ask a question to a non-English speaking Greek – the response is always … “Yes”.
